1. Do you provide free estimates?

2. What size projects do you service?

While at Home Demolition Sydney we specialise in residential demolition, we also work on larger commercial and industrial projects.

3. Can you demolish buildings which contain asbestos?

Yes, we remove all asbestos from the property before starting the demolition process. We are highly experienced in both asbestos removal and demolition.

4. Do I need council approval to demolish my property?

Yes, you will need a Demolition Approval from your council to demolish your property. Home Demolition Sydney proudly offers a complete demolition service and can arrange the necessary permits to get work started. Approval can take between 7 and 14 business days.

5. How long does it take to demolish a house?

Depends to the size of the project, i.e. a home building typically takes around 1-2 weeks. And for larger project depend to the size of the project.

6. What materials can be recycled?

We recycle and repurpose around 80% of the material from our demolition sites, including bricks, concrete, metal, timber, green waste, cement, insulation, tiles, plasterboard's and more.

7. How long will it take to complete the demolition?

An average 4 bedroom home takes about 2-3 days for a clear site ready for building including all tree and stump removal. But, each house can vary depending on individual circumstances.

8. What happens to the demolished material from my site?

Home Demolition Sydney uses major waste management centres to recycle material where possible. Asbestos and other hazardous materials are carefully wrapped and disposed of at a licensed tip, in compliance with the relevant safety protocols.

9. What services need to be disconnected before demolition can begin?

Home Demolition Sydney will take care of all utility disconnections for you. We are able to disconnect meters, electricity and gas and arrange for your sewerage to be capped.

10. Do we have insurance in case something goes wrong?

This very rarely happens, but in the event that it does, we are fully insured for public liability and damage to property.

Home Demolition Sydney's employees and sub-contractors follow strict safety standards in accordance with our Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Procedures. All our employees are site safety induced and have induction cards and experience for all the tasks we undertake.
